Like Elisha being surrounded by bullying challenges

Elisha’s observation when apparently surrounded by menacing bullies

And we too are surrounded by angels… they that be for us, are more than they that be with them… What’s the original story?

Another take on that kind of assurance:

"Like a lion, king of the beasts,
that gnaws and chews and worries its prey,
Not fazed in the least by a bunch of shepherds
who arrive to chase it off,
So God-of-the-Angel-Armies comes down
to fight on Mount Zion, to make war from its heights.
And like a huge eagle hovering in the sky,
God-of-the-Angel-Armies protects Jerusalem.
I'll protect and rescue it.
Yes, I'll hover and deliver."

5 Like birds hovering overhead,
the LORD Almighty will shield Jerusalem;
he will shield it and deliver it,
he will 'pass over' it and will rescue it."

We are surrounded by resources. Pray to open our eyes to the reality.

When the divine precepts [ directives and orders] are understood, the will unfold the foundation of fellowship

Opposed

The human mind is opposed to God and must be put off.

Acting against or in opposition: adversarial, adverse, antagonistic, antipathetic, opposing, oppositional. See support/oppose.

When we are confident in God’s care we act differently. Treating others accordingly we change history ( and the armies came no more unto Israel)

God brought us up.. from the challenges

What are the details: what parallels or relevance?

He hath brought us up from the land of bondage.
